"Red Dog"
Feature Film
Just spent a few days as Camera Operator on this film with Geoff Hall ACS as D.o.P..
We were using two Red One Cameras and I am very happy to report
the shoot went really well with no technical problems at all.
The camera was so easy to use with an amazingly clear and crisp viewfinder.
The images are looking fantastic on the big screen and the crew were a dream to work with.
I have a new respect for this once negatively criticised Camera.

Between shooting Features, TVCs and TV Dramas; Rodney has been
helping out at Kakadu National Park working with the
Park Rangers on a variety of projects as D.P./ Director / Producer / Editor
and Post Production Supervisor.
Rodney set up a new Media Department at Kakadu HQ to facilitate
the on-going collection of the ’Oral Histories’ of the
Traditional Elders in the region.
These are of significant importance to not only their younger relatives
but to the whole Indigenous History of Australia.
Rodney also trained up a few Indigenous Park Rangers in the skills
of video production, so they may work out in the field with confidence.
